Hello 2014!

Goodbye 2013. Hello 2014. You are most welcome. This should have been up yesterday but my friend came over and we spent the first day of the new year playing The Walking Dead board game and video game which was a pretty fun way to start the new year.

In my Hello 2013 post on my old blog I vowed to;
Finally finish that damn scarf! Check! I am the proud owner of a beautiful scarf which I’m sure will feature if I ever decide to do OOTDs.

Use up more products! The same as last year but I really enjoy scraping out the last of something and knowing I got my moneys worth! Not as much! Must try harder this year.
Start going to the gym three times a week! Check for most of the year but since I got my new trainer it’s only been twice a week.
Blog more regularly! Fail! I went on hiatus on my old blog for months but I’m back now!
Visit countries I’ve never been to! Check! I visited Morroco in Africa in 2013.
Start my creative writing course and do some more drama courses! Check to the creative writing, fail to the drama.
And read 20 books! Fail! I really didn’t read much last year.

Things I want to do more of in 2014:
Writing. As a attempting novelist I write everyday and I need to keep this up, possibly do even more but I’m not sure there are enough hours in the day…
Reading. I heard once that Winston Churchill read a book every night, even during the Blitz. He said it made him think better.”
Knitting. I really like making things and it’s great for making the time I’m watching TV feel a little more productive.
Blogging. Fairly certain this will be on every bloggers list but I love blogging and I’m excited to blog in 2014.
Travelling. Last year I visited somewhere new and revisited a lot of places I’d been before. This year I want to branch out- maybe to America.
Anything that makes me happy.

To try and do this I’m going to attempt Don’t Break the Chain 2014 inspired by this video by Charlie McDonnell for my degree, writing, and blogging.
Will you join me?
