Under My Christmas Tree..

I know it’s January now but I thought I would show a few of the things I was lucky enough to receive this Christmas from family and friends, I’m still reading all the posts from Christmas on my Bloglovin’ feed so hopefully you don’t mind too much. As always, not bragging, just showing.

And in more detail..

If you saw my Under My Christmas Tree post from last year you’ll recognise the print of the make-up bag, now I have a matching set. This is great because the wash-bag I got last year was used a lot and is great quality for travelling with. I’m thinking that this’ll be great to separate things up a little when I go on trips.
And if you read my Christmas Wishlist you might recognise the duvet and pillowcase as the ones that you can write on and they wash it out. I haven’t tried them yet but I will report back! They feel nice and soft since they’re 100% cotton and both came with 10 double-sided pens.

Another thing off my wish list! I really love Frasier and I’m excited to finally see what happens past season 9. I recommend this show to anyone that likes an easy laugh and nice short 20 minute episodes.
My brother got my the new Animal Crossing game by Nintendo where you get to be Mayor rather than just a resident. I have to say I’ll be excited not to have Tom Nook’s loans to pay. Now to just pick a town name…

Books, glorious books. And a bit of a mixed bunch! I got the history of the company that came before Lush, Snooki’s second novel which I’m going to save for holiday reading I think, a book of P.G. Wodehouse stories and a history book about George VI who truly is one of our more fascinating kings in my opinion.
On the beauty side of things, another Liberty print item was dropped into my stocking- can you sense a pattern? It’s a lovely Andrea Garland lip balm in this really high quality pill box with a mirror. I have no idea what I’m going to do with it once the lip balm is gone but I feel I’ll find something because it’s beautiful! Any ideas?
I must’ve mentioned this cream in passing to my mum back in October when I saw it in this Lisa Eldridge video. I swear I had it years and years ago but of course, I had no idea what I was doing at the time, now I’m hoping it’ll be a good for my painfully dry winter skin.
On the nerdier front, this Worst-Case Scenario calendar has been giving me a lot of laughs/ unnerving information like how to make a bow and arrow and how to survive torture :’) I’ve been instagraming a couple of my favourites and I’ve had the book for years. Invaluable information for a writer.
My lovely friend Ashley sneaked in a couple Walking Dead related goodies into a delivery that she sorted out for me and I couldn’t be more grateful. The teeshirt is a perfect fit and the mug, shaped like a crossbow is brilliant for pretending to shoot walkers perfect for the soothing tea I’m going to need if they don’t stop killing people off!
Snooki Slippers. Enough said. They are literally like walking on clouds and keep my feet warm and comfy while I look slightly like a cartoon character with massive feet.
And lastly, chocolate. This doesn’t include what I’ve already eaten. Luckily I made no healthy eating New Years resolution.
What did you get for Christmas? Leave me links!
