Halloween has passed, the pumpkins are pie, the leftover candy has mysteriously disappeared and the #Hallowreadathon is over! Seriously thank you to the people who took part, and read along with me over the weekend. Hopefully, next year will be just as fun. And here’s my wrap-up for the weekend!

So I started out at midnight with Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris, which was just the book on my TBR I was most drawn to. I didn’t get a lot read as we were celebrating my brothers birthday, but I finished it! Early Sunday morning. Really early. Up-all-night-reading early. Challenge 1; to read a book you’re scared of? Check! And just like facing most things you’re scared of, it wasn’t half as bad as I thought it might be.
Then I moved on to a book with an orange cover and my copy of the book I’m giving away, Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick and I got 20 pages in before realising that it wasn’t readathon material. I wanted to savour that book. So I switched over to True Fire by Gary Meehan
which is YA and looked like a quicker read. I managed to get 106 pages in before switching, again, to Chew, Volume 1
. This I finished and since there’s orange on the cover- Challenge 2? Check!
Generally I’m a little so-so about comic bind-ups in readathons but I’m going to be nice to myself and say I read 2 books in 2 days. And I’m really excited to complete the books I started, in November.
